Wolf Gold Project

Located in America’s “Cowboy State” of Wyoming, Visionary’s flagship project is comprised of private lands and federal mining claims covering 10.25km2. The Company’s initial drill target is located within the Wolf Shear Zone in the greater Miner’s Delight Basin--an area known for high-grade past production of orogenic gold--and is beneath the past producing Wolf Mine. Orogenic gold deposits are estimated to have produced about 75% of the world’s gold. Visionary plans a maiden drill program for 2021 to test high priority targets, including a geophysical anomaly below high-grade surface mineralisation at the historic Wolf Mine. Visionary will continue to identify and pursue additional high priority targets within its regional land holdings, which it considers to be a target-rich environment, hosting multiple zones of known gold mineralization, and build upon a district-scale land package.

Exploration Results to Date

Rock chip samples, reported December 2020, of a fault gouge within the Wolf Shear Zone returned 19.87 grams per tonne gold and 20.63 grams per tonne gold. Rock chip channel samples across a portion of the alteration envelope within the Wolf Shear Zone returned 8.0 metres of 2.13 grams per tonne gold, including 2.0 metres of 5.67 grams per tonne gold. Additional rock chip and surface samples within the alteration envelope of the Wolf Shear Zone ranged from 2.63 grams per tonne gold up to 15.46 grams per tonne gold. Of the 76 samples reported from across the Wolf Claim Group, 47 had anomalous values over 0.2 grams per tonne gold and 22 had values over 1 gram per tonne gold.

Mining in Wyoming

Gold was first discovered in Wyoming’s Miners Delight Formation by prospectors in the 1860’s near Lewiston and in South Pass City.  Orogenic lode gold was mined at the Carissa Mine at South Pass City and at dozens of other small mines for nearly 100 years until operations ceased in 1956.  Although the area has a rich history of gold mining, very little exploration work has taken place since the 1950s.  Instead, the state’s resource industry has largely focused on coal mining with 39% of US coal produced there. Declining interest in fossil fuels; however, is creating a need for new jobs in the mineral resource sector to replace jobs declining in the energy sector and revitalizing the storied gold industry presents an opportunity for Visionary Gold. While gold mining was once prevalent in Wyoming’s Miners Delight Basin, no meaningful modern gold mining has been done to date and Visionary’s goal is to unlock the region’s potential by discovering and drill-testing new gold targets utilizing modern exploration techniques.
